Lissette Rivera
VP of Finance
Lissette brings to BluHost more than 20 years of senior level experience in the finance area of the hotel industry in Puerto Rico and Florida. Her career encompasses a distinguished performance in leading hotel management companies, such as Williams Hospitality, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Luxury Hotels and Resorts (Blackstone) and Hilton International. She has been director of finance at iconic hotels like El Conquistador Resort, El San Juan Hotel and Hilton Condado Plaza amongst others.
At BluHost, Lissette oversees the financial operation of our hotels and restaurants, including the responsibility of applying her expertise in the supervision and review of related special processes and projects.
Ricky Díaz
VP Food & Beverage Operations
Ricky brings to BluHost an entrepenurial spirit, energetic leadership and food and beverage expertise. Prior to joining BluHost, Ricky worked at numerous hotels and restaurants. After owning his own restaurant business, he joined IHE where he wore many hats, including consulting on the development of all the food and beverage outlets for La Concha Resort and the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. He went on to open a restaurant division for IHE where he led the successful launch of Serafina and STK restaurants.
Ricky is also a licensed real estate agent who enjoys a good cigar or riding his chopper in his free time.
José M. Suárez
President & CEO
José, known to all as ”Peco”, is a seasoned hospitality professional with almost 30 years of experience in both the public and private tourism and hospitality fields. Prior to founding BluHost, Peco led Puerto Rico’s largest hotel management company, International Hospitality Enterprises (IHE) for the last 14 years where he grew revenues in excess of $200 million, managed 6 hotels and 2 casinos and had more than 2,200 employees. He oversaw the development of 3 hotels during that period, including the famed La Concha Resort and the ultra luxury Condado Vanderbilt.
He served as Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company from 2002-2004 and is currently the Chairman of the Board of Discover Puerto Rico, the island’s destination marketing organization.
Peco holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Dayton and a Masters Degree from the prestigious Cornell University – School of Hotel Administration.
Jomarie Arturet
VP of Sales & Marketing
Jomarie is a proven dynamic, passionate strategic leader with over 19 years of experience in hospitality sales and marketing with an excellent track record of developing and implementing successful strategies with the hotel's owners, customers, and employees' best interest. She has held leadership positions at many of Puerto Rico’s top hotels, including El San Juan Hotel, El Conquistador, Caribe Hilton and most recently was Director of National Accounts at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve in Rio Grande, PR.
Jomarie oversees all sales and marketing functions as well as the revenue management process for BluHost. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from the University of Puerto Rico.
Tania Lebrón
Tania is a hospitality professional with 19 years of experience in a vast range of roles in operations and human resources. For the last 10 years she was Human Resources Manager for IHE. She has directed the human resources strategy for the opening of 12 business within the industry ranging from restaurants, hotels and casinos. Tania is an avid traveler, foodie at heart who says that “crafting is my super power!
Tania holds an MBA in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Hospitality Management from the University of Puerto Rico.
